As a non-profit 501(c)3 foundation (Tax ID #461367909), our mission is to establish and conduct a cultural, educational and recreational enterprise that promotes, supports and perpetuates the Polynesian culture, practices and traditions. Our primary focus is to instill cultural pride of the Pacific Islander heritage in all residents. The Ho’oilina Foundation provides grants, scholarships and/or resource assistance to support groups and individuals of California who are continuing the Polynesian culture through art, music, dance, education and recreation.
Proceeds from the Heritage of Aloha Festival will be awarded by the Ho'oilina Foundation to selected community groups who apply for projects that perpetuate the Pacific Island culture through art, music, dance, education and recreation.
Mahalo to everyone who helps to spread and grow the Aloha spirit in California.
The grant application and guidelines will be available at the festival or can be requested via email by contacting Heritageofalohafestival@gmail.com.
